Jan de Vries Flower Essences are a combination of a number of flower remedies, giving a wider spectrum of activity. They work rapidly but gently on the emotions and can be taken alongside other medication. Bach flower remedies, sometimes simply known as flower remedies or flower essences, work by moderating the psychological factors involved in many of the conditions that are common in modern life. Bach flower remedies take their name from Dr Edward Bach, a medical doctor, who first created them in the 1930s. They are extracts of flowers based in brandy and have the purpose of influencing the emotional well-being of the individual.
