This is an entry level position. The Junior Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the marketing strategy from the development of different elements to their execution. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will require the following skills and job description noted below.
Brand Manager support: assisting the brand managers with all aspects of their brands
Sales rep support: liaising with 9 sales reps re: providing support material
Retailer support: liaising with health stores and pharmacies re: samples and POS
In-store rep promotions: designing and sending promo posters and flyers
Point of Sale: ordering and managing point of sale quantities from key agencies
Catalogues: co-ordination and dispatch of bi-monthly trade catalogues, in association with the marketing department
Correspondence courses: co-ordination and dispatch of training courses/certificates
Trainings: co-ordination of bookings. Liaising with hotels re: equipment and food requirements
Graphic Design: experience in designing e-newsletters, brochures, pdf’s and flyers an advantage but not essential
Brand Management: management of low level brands in-conjunction with Sales & Marketing Manager
Suppliers/Trade Shows: willing to travel occasionally both nationally and internationally to meet suppliers and attend trade shows/retailer talks
Sales Meetings: minute all sales and marketing meetings
Ad hoc duties
Qualification – Marketing or Business qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience – Minimum 0 -1 years’ experience working in busy marketing department or office environment an advantage.
