Brand Manager – Permanent full-time


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager looking for a developmental opportunity with Wholefoods. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager the role will support the localisation and implementation of brand strategy for key leading brands within the Wholefoods portfolio. The role incorporates NPD introduction, pricing, promotion, ATL & BTL activation, as well as local shopper insight generation. Organisation and coordination of trade catalogues and other related marketing activities.

Job Description

  • Local Brand Activation: In conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Manager and the marketing, sales and PR team, localise and optimise regional Integrated Marketing Campaigns, for best in class execution in market. This assumes full responsibility for compelling local copy, NPD management, BTL & ATL activation, POS materials, digital activation and liaison, pricing, promotion, customer and professional training materials.

 

  • Manage Brand Portfolio & Strategy: Management, analysis and presentation of key metrics and campaign effectiveness. Manage, challenge and reconcile local budgets. Ensure implementation of appropriate strategy for portfolio of brands.

 

  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide future focused monthly report on sales, competitor performance. Identify opportunities and corrective actions where necessary.

 

  • Trade Catalogues: Chair and organize catalogue meetings. Communicate deadlines internally and externally. Liaise and co- ordinate with printing company. Co-ordination, assembly and dispatch of preambles and finished catalogue.

 

  • Insight Generation: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and direct local strategy. Test and pilot ideas.

 

  • Graphic Design: create, develop and implement marketing materials from design to print / online, e-newsletters, brand brochures, pdf’s and flyers.

 

  • Compliance: Ensure that all campaigns and initiatives are compliant with regulatory, data protection and company guidelines and policies.

 

Qualification – Marketing or Business qualification or equivalent experience.

Experience – 1 -3 years’ experience working in busy marketing department or office environment an advantage.

Skills Requirements

  • Adobe Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator an advantage but not essential

Salary: Negotiable (DOE). This role is for an immediate start.
